Yesterday, the horse 'Rabah' under the banner of 'Shadwell' and supervised by trainer Musabih Al Mahiri, won the title of the 'Jebel Ali Speed Series' speed championship. This was the fifth and main race of the season. The second major race of the season, with total prize money of 120,000 dirhams, saw the horse 'Prince Rose', owned by 'Ahmase Racing', win the sixth race, the 'Emirates Cup', under the guidance of trainer Bobat Simar and jockey Tag Ouchy. The race was for Thoroughbred-bred horses in the 'Takawful' category over a distance of 1800 meters. The race meeting included seven races with a total prize pool of 620,000 dirhams. The first race was for Purebred Arabian horses, while the other six were for Thoroughbred-bred horses. A total of 73 of the finest local and international horses competed for the titles.
