Dubai Sailing Race: Youth Champions Crowned

The second round of the Dubai Local Sailing Boats Race in the 22-foot class took place on Saturday, organized by the Dubai International Marine Sports Club. The event featured 46 boats, with 45 successfully completing the course, indicating the high skill level of the young participants. In the youth category, the boat 'Almany 30', owned by Mohammed Rashid Al Rumaisi and captained by Khalid Mohammed Al Rumaisi, won the title. In the juniors category, 'Al Saroukh 1', owned by Marwan Abdullah Al Marzouki and captained by Juma Mohammed Al Marzouki, reaffirmed its dominance. The race began in Dubai's waters and concluded at Jumeirah Beach, with an event characterized by high speed and close competition between the boats. Mohammed Al Marri, Director of the Sports Department at the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, awarded the winners and top finishers. In the youth category, 'Zilzal 25' took second place and 'Zilzal 1' took third. In the juniors category, 'Dhiban 88' secured second place and 'Al Dhib 40' secured third.
