Today, the Al Habtoor and Jangiri teams will face off in the final of the Union Day Polo Championship at the Al Habtoor Polo and Equestrian Club, celebrating the 54th Union Day of the state. Prior to the final, the Mahra and Borauna Cabeza teams will play to determine the third-place team. In turn, President of the UAE Polo Federation, Mohammed Al Habtoor, stated in a press interview: «Sports events are a societal duty, especially those linked to holidays and national occasions that enhance the spirit of belonging to our nation and loyalty to our leadership, which has spared no effort in bringing happiness to the people of the state and its guests». The tournament, held with an 8 to 10 goal handicap, saw the Al Habtoor team, led by Mohammed Al Habtoor, and the Jangiri team, led by Saad Jangiri, advance to the final for the championship trophy. The Al Habtoor team will be represented by: Mohammed Al Habtoor, Pally Ohiza, Juan Cruz, and TPC. The Jangiri team will be represented by: Saad Jangiri, Ignacio Perez, Tomas Ariarti, and Santos Ariarti.
