The International Boxing Association (IBA) hosted an opening ceremony that showcased the development and culture of the United Arab Emirates, sending a message to the world in conjunction with the country's celebrations of the '54th Union Day'. The event marked the opening of the 23rd Elite Men's World Boxing Championships 'UAE 2025', held at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Dubai. The tournament, running until December 13, features record prize money exceeding $8 million. The ceremony was attended by delegations from 118 countries and a large audience, who witnessed outstanding performances about the birth and evolution of the UAE, its creativity, and development. This was achieved by highlighting its heritage and proud traditions, from pearl diving to modern achievements.
