The UAE Special Olympics team will participate in two international events in December: the Unified 3x3 Basketball World Cup in Puerto Rico and the World Sailing Championship for People with Disabilities hosted by Oman. The first event, the Unified 3x3 Basketball World Cup, will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from December 1-9. It will feature 20 men's teams and 18 women's teams. Thus, the UAE Special Olympics concludes 2025 with prominent international participation, reflecting the nation's commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and enhancing their presence at major global sporting events.
