Christian Mas, a senior at the University of Texas and currently ranked second in the collegiate PGA Tour, has been granted an exemption to compete in the 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Mas said: "It is a great honor for me to have this opportunity. I feel like I have been watching this specific tournament my whole life, I have always loved the Rolex Series." The South African player will be participating in this prestigious tournament for the first time. It is part of the Rolex Series and will be held at the Emirates Golf Club from January 22 to 25, 2026. Mas's invitation continues the tradition of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, which provides opportunities for top collegiate golfers to compete in the DP World Tour.
