Team Victory clinches the World Championship title in the 'X-Cat' powerboat class after winning the main race. Dubai, February 21. Team Victory, led by the duo Saeed Al-Addidi and Issa Al-Ali on board the 'Victory 7', won the main race of the Dubai Grand Prix, securing the 2025 season championship title. The race took place at Jumeirah's Beach, where Al-Addidi and Al-Ali demonstrated steady performance and overtook competitors to cross the finish line first, bringing the team's total to 165 points, 39 points ahead of the closest British rival. This victory marks Team Victory's seventh world title in the 'X-Cat' class and its 27th international title overall. The award ceremony was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Marine Sports Federation. The 'Victory 7' completed 16 laps in 42 minutes and 24 seconds, finishing ahead of 'Fujairah 96' by 6 minutes and 38 seconds, and 'Sharjah 9' by 47.78 seconds. The team expressed pride in their achievement, citing teamwork and preparation as key factors for their success.
