The first edition of the Dubai Open for Paddle Academies, launched by the Dubai Sports Council in collaboration with the UAE Paddle Federation and in partnership with World Paddle Academy, has concluded. The initiative aims to enhance efforts in discovering and developing young sporting talents in the sport of padel. Over 70 players from 14 academies participated in the first edition of the tournament, competing in four age categories: under 12, under 14, under 16, and under 18. Player Rashed Waleed from the UAE Paddle Federation Academy stood out, receiving the award for Best Player in the tournament after presenting a model for emerging talents to follow. In the under-12 category, the duo Farnam Kian and Adrian Rodriguez took first place, followed by Mehdi Obaid and Hassan Ahmed Magdy Abou Zeyd in second place. In the under-14 category, the duo Arseniy Solovyev and Adam Hamoud took first place, followed by the duo Fares Naser and Issa Ahli in second place. In the under-16 category, the duo Rashed Waleed and Majed Al Abdullah took first place, followed by the duo Hamdan Al Kuhaidi and Issa Ahli in second place. In the under-18 category, the duo Ahmed Al Mahiri and Rashed Waleed took first place, followed by the duo Hamdan Al Kuhaidi and Hamad Al Kuhaidi in second place.
Dubai Open for Paddle Academies Concludes
The Dubai Sports Council, in collaboration with the UAE Paddle Federation, held the first Open Paddle Championship for young athletes. Over 70 players from 14 academies competed in four age categories. Winners and runners-up were determined, and the tournament's best player was named.
