Last evening, the UAE Football Association presented the international badges to accredited football referees and assistant referees for the year 2026 at its headquarters in Dubai. The event was attended by the Vice President of the Football Association, Obaid Salem Al Shamsi, and a member of the Board of Directors, Deputy Chairman of the Referees Committee, Hamad Ahmed Al Mazroui. The list of international referees this year features a selection of elite refereeing talents, comprising 7 field referees, 9 assistant referees, 3 female referees on the field, 7 Video Assistant Referee (VAR) officials, in addition to 3 referees and 1 female referee for futsal, and 2 beach soccer referees. The UAE Football Association congratulated the referees and female referees on earning their international badges, affirming that this achievement reflects the fruit of the continuous support from the Board of Directors and the diligent work of the Referees Committee in enhancing performance and raising the level of referees according to the highest standards approved by the Asian and International Federations. The Association wished them continued success and prosperity. The list of referees who received international badges includes: Field Referees: Omar Al Ali, Adel Al Naqbi, Ahmad Eisa Druish, Yahya Al Mulla, Sultan Mohammad Saleh, Mohammad Al Hermodi, Suhail Al Mulla. Assistant Referees: Mohammad Ahmad Yusuf, Jasem Abdullah, Ahmad Al Rashdi, Ali Rashid Al Neaimi, Saeed Al Marzouki, Yaser Sabih, Mohammad Hussein Al Mazimi, Amer Abdullah Hassan. VAR Referees: Adel Al Naqbi, Omar Al Ali, Mohammad Abid Khatem, Saqr Al Zaabi, Eisa Khalifa, Ahmad Al Naqbi, Sultan Abdel Razzaq. Futsal Referees: Fahad Badr Al Hosani, Ahmad Al Ghais, Hamd Abdullah Al Naqbi. Beach Soccer Referees: Ibrahim Al Raisi, Nawaf Ahmad. Female Referees: Khlood Al Zaabi, Rouda Al Mansouri (field), Amal Jamal (assistant), Najat Al Balushi (futsal).
