Dubai hosted the "General Open" rounds of the Mohammed bin Rashid Falcon Racing Cup, attracting top competitors from across the UAE and internationally. The "General Open" rounds showcased impressive results and widespread participation from within the country and abroad, as part of the "Mohammed bin Rashid Falcon Racing Cup", organized by Fazaa Championships Management at the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre. These events reflect the significant momentum the tournament is gaining across various technical and organizational levels. In the coming days, all eyes will be on a pivotal stage in the tournament's journey, with anticipation building for the start of one of its strongest and most important rounds at the national and regional level: the Elite and Cup rounds. These are designated for the elite falcons and falconers who secured the top three positions in the Fazaa Falconry Championship and the Mohammed bin Rashid Falcon Racing Cup. The competitions are expected to reach a peak of challenge and rivalry. According to the schedule, the tournament will feature the Elite rounds for the categories of Seniors, General Owners, and General Open for the Granite category on Wednesday. On Thursday, February 12th, the tournament will conclude with the Cup rounds for the same categories but for the Chick category. The finale is expected to bring together the strongest falcons and the most prominent names in the world of falcon racing. To conclude the "General Open" competitions on Monday, awards were presented. The Byur Jir rounds were marked by strong competition. Team Dubai claimed first place in the Chick round with falcon "B 19" in a time of 16.791 seconds. The second place went to team Al-Fursan with falcon "HH 20" in 17.019 seconds, while third place went to Saudi Arabia through falconer Baragh bin Mohammed Al-Mansoori with falcon "B 95" in 17.085 seconds. In the Granite round, team "RBG" won with falcon "Shama" in a time of 16.326 seconds, followed by team Al-Midan with falcon "B 09" in 16.5232 seconds, and third place went to team Dubai with falcon "R 25" in 16.5234 seconds. In the Kermousha rounds, team Nadd Shaaba dominated the Chick round with falcon "Trend" in 16.587 seconds, followed by team Al-Midan with falcon "G 516" in 16.772 seconds, and then team Dubai with falcon "Jumeirah" in 16.961 seconds. Team Dubai also won the Granite round with falcon "G 96" in 16.665 seconds, followed by Saudi Arabia's Baragh bin Mohammed Al-Mansoori in second and third place with falcon "Takreem" in 16.692 seconds and falcon "G 5" in 18.705 seconds, respectively. At the conclusion of the event, the CEO of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, Abdullah Hamdan bin Dulmook; the Centre's Deputy CEO, Rashid bin Marwan; the Director of Fazaa Championships Management, Rashid Harib Al-Hasani; and the Chairman of the Tournament's Organizing Committee, Dhamithan bin Suwaidan, honored the winners in a celebratory atmosphere, marking this success and a heritage gathering between the sons of the nation and their brothers from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and several other Arab nations.
