Ricardo Pinto, coach of Al-Ittihad club, stated that his current ambition is for the team to succeed in staying in the UAE First Division League in its first season, paving the way for its development in the coming period. Pinto is counting on signing Italian national team star Mario Balotelli, who joined the team during the current winter transfer window, as well as the addition of new players, both citizens and residents, with good technical skills.
