Today, the official draw for the 26th edition of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships was held. The tournament, featuring a prize fund of $4.08 million and classified as a WTA 1000 event, is set to begin the day after tomorrow. The draw ceremony took place at the 'Majlis' hall at the Dubai Duty Free stadium in the Al Quoz area of Dubai. The current tournament will see the participation of 18 players from the world's top 20 rankings, led by world number one Aryna Sabalenka, who is returning to Dubai for the tenth time in her professional career. World number two Iga Świątek is also back in Dubai, aiming to avenge her quarterfinal exit from last year's edition, which she lost to Russian player Mirra Andreeva in straight sets (6-3, 6-3). Similarly, world number seven Mirra Andreeva is returning to defend her title at the Dubai Tennis Championships.
