UAE Women's Team Successfully Participates in 'Government Challenge'

Today, we are proud of our women's team, which is taking on this challenge with determination that reflects the ability of a woman from the UAE to excel in all fields. We affirm that solidarity to overcome obstacles in the sports field is the same approach we adhere to in serving society and preserving its security and stability. The 'Government Challenge' is one of the most prominent sports initiatives launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, aimed at consolidating the principle of teamwork and team spirit among government employees and community members. Dubai Festival City is hosting the seventh edition of the championship, which this year sees a record-wide participation from around the world. The team went through a series of challenges requiring high levels of mental and physical fitness amidst a competitive international atmosphere. This participation, which is the second consecutive for Ammen Service in the Government Challenge, embodies the vision of Ammen Service that physical and mental readiness is a fundamental pillar of security and community work. The service aims through its presence at this major sporting event to enhance the team spirit, and to instill the values of cooperation and solidarity to overcome obstacles, which are the same values that the 'Ammen Service' team adopts in performing its national duties to preserve the security and stability of society. The team enjoys direct leadership support, with Mr. Omar Falasi, Head of Ammen Service, attending the competitions in person, sending a message confirming the leadership's commitment to empowering Emirati women in all fields and supporting the workforce to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle that enhances their efficiency and productivity. In turn, Mr. Omar Falasi said: 'Our participation in the 'Government Challenge' transcends the traditional concept of sports competition to become a practical embodiment of the team spirit and mental and physical readiness that we instill in our security personnel. The competitions feature a series of innovative mental and physical challenges designed specifically to test strength, endurance, strategic thinking ability, and teamwork under pressure, thereby enhancing institutional and social harmony.' 'Ammen Service' participated in the seventh edition of the 'Government Challenge', represented by a women's team of 7 distinguished national participants.
