The first round of the golf league in Dubai saw the Claude Harmon Academy take the lead. The UAE Golf Federation announced the launch of a national league for the 2026 season. The Dubai Open Football Championship concluded with 12,000 participants.

The Dubai group led the rankings after the Dubai Harmon Academy at 'The Els' Club finished the round with a total of (+4), confirming their strong presence at the start of the tournament. The Emirates Golf Club came in second with a total of (+7), tying with the Emaar team, which finished third on result countback. The first round, held at 'The Els' Golf Club in the capital Abu Dhabi on Sunday, saw fierce competition in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi groups. The closing ceremony crowned the girls' team from the UAE Federation's training centers (under 12) as the league champions and gold medalists, in addition to winning the silver medals as runners-up in the Cup championship. Mira Hussein was named the best player, while Maryam Khalil received the best goalkeeper award. In the Abu Dhabi group, the Abu Dhabi Golf Club managed to take the lead with a total of (+7). In the under-13 competitions, champions were crowned. The UAE Golf Federation announced the official launch of the national league under the name 'Sixes Golf League – UAE' for the 2026 season. The Dubai Open Football Academies (DOFA) tournament, organized in cooperation with the UAE Football Association and the Dubai Sports Council, concluded on Sunday. The tournament featured 12,000 players representing football academies across the country. The 2025-2026 season was distinguished by a competitive atmosphere reflecting the continuous development of the youth sector.
