The United Arab Emirates Aquatics Federation is the organizer, with technical and logistical support from Ibisex Sports Academy. The championships are officially sanctioned by World Aquatics, lending international recognition to the results. They are also a qualifying event for the 2026 Dakar Youth Olympic Games, enhancing their importance for participating federations and teams. The event is part of the World Aquatics calendar, and its results count towards qualification.
