The UAE Football Association's Disciplinary Committee, during its latest meeting, imposed several disciplinary sanctions on players and clubs due to violations observed in various matches of local competitions. The Committee issued a warning to Al-Bataeh player Álvaro de Oliveira and fined him 10,000 dirhams, in addition to bearing the repair costs, for damaging property at the host club (Al-Wasl) during his team's match against Al-Wasl at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai, within the 17th round of the Pro League, which ended with a 1-0 victory for Al-Wasl. The Committee also decided to suspend Al-Dibba Al-Hisn player Hassan Abdelrahman for two matches and fine him 7,500 dirhams for verbally abusing a referee in the U-16 league, alongside suspending his teammate Mohamed Al-Saridi for two matches and fining him 7,500 dirhams for the same violation. In a related context, the Committee punished Shabab Al-Ahli player Hussein Ali Kozad with a two-match suspension and a 7,500 dirham fine for verbally abusing a referee in the UAE U-19 Cup. On the club front, the Committee issued a formal warning to Al-Ain and Al-Qaisa clubs due to their fans verbally abusing a referee in the UAE U-21 and U-19 Cup competitions respectively. It also fined Ajman 15,000 dirhams for its players receiving six yellow cards in a single match in the U-23 Pro League. The Committee deemed Al-Ain (B) team losers in their match against Al-Rams with a 3-0 score for violating the player substitution rules in the UAE U-19 Cup. In other decisions, the Committee suspended Al-Suqour Al-Arabiya player Edward Ndeki for four matches and fined him 4,000 dirhams for assaulting an opposing player without the ball in the Second Division League. His teammate, Jonjo Shelvey, was suspended for six matches and fined 6,000 dirhams for spitting at a referee.
