Hughes will now be given the position of Head of Football Development and Philosophy at the academy. Previously, he worked for 7 years at Liverpool, helping to develop talents such as Curtis Jones (25) and Jarell Quansah (23). He also led the department for skills development in youth teams and helped nurture players like Cole Palmer, Oscar Bob, and Nico O'Reilly.
