The UAE Handball Association has set Monday, March 23, as the date for the draw of the men's and youth cup tournaments for the 2025–2026 sports season. The draw is scheduled for 2:00 PM local time. In a statement released on Friday, the Handball Association said: «The draw ceremony will take place in the theater hall of the UAE Olympic Committee building on the ground floor, in the presence of representatives of the participating clubs. The matchups for the cup competitions in the current season will be determined». The statement also added: «The Association calls on clubs to nominate their representatives to attend the meeting and participate in the draw procedures, ensuring the presence of all parties concerned and informing them about the details of the upcoming tournaments». This step is part of the organizational preparations being carried out by the Association for the launch of the cup competitions, within the framework of the 2025–2026 sports season calendar, and its commitment to organizing local competitions according to the approved schedule, which helps to enhance competition between clubs and develop the level of the game».
