Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Oni contributed to Nottingham Forest's 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, allowing the visiting team to overtake its host in the fight for survival in the English Premier League football on Sunday. Gibbs-White, who had been a target for Tottenham in the summer transfer window, scored the second goal about an hour into the play to secure the win for the away side. Substitute Oni then added a late goal with a direct strike, forcing Tottenham fans to leave the stadium. Tottenham had been the better side before the break, but created only one chance which Richarlison missed before Jesus headed in from a corner by Nico Williams near the end of the first half. With this victory, Nottingham Forest has significantly improved its position in the relegation battle.
