Ajman Resumes Training Ahead of Al Ain Clash

The Ajman team has returned to group training after a rest period granted by Serbian coach Goran Tufegdzic to the players for the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. This is part of the preparations for the match against Al Ain in the 21st round of the UAE Pro League, scheduled for April 4th. The coaching staff has developed an intensive preparation program, focusing on the physical and technical aspects, with the aim of raising the players' readiness and correcting the mistakes that appeared in the recent matches. The Serbian coach preferred to stick to daily training without playing any friendly matches, a step that reflects the technical staff's orientation to give priority to internal work and address the shortcomings that affected the team's results recently. The 'Orange' had only managed to secure one point in the last three league matches, drawing with Bani Yas and losing to both Al Wahda and Al Bataeh, despite presenting good technical levels during most of those encounters. On his part, the team's director, Mohammed Hussein, confirmed that the technical staff saw no need to play friendly matches during the current break, pointing out that the focus is on correcting some technical aspects, at the forefront of which is wasting chances and the lack of a final touch, factors that deprived the team of achieving better results in the past matches, despite its technical superiority. He told 'Al Ittihad': 'The atmosphere of confidence is still present within the club, and there is no concern about the decline in results in the recent period, especially since the team's overall performance was good, and the current stage of the league naturally witnesses a convergence of levels and an increase in competition intensity, whether at the top of the standings or in the survival battle, which affects the results of all teams, not just Ajman.' The Ajman team director denied what was circulating about the existence of disagreements between coach Goran and midfielder Bilal Youssef, indicating that 'the player's stay on the bench in some matches is due to a purely technical point of view.' He explained that 'the presence of distinguished players like Yahya Jabran and the brilliant performance of Ismail Mumin gave the technical staff multiple options in the middle of the field, while Bilal Youssef remains one of the most important alternative cards that the coach relies on during matches.' He pointed out that 'the upcoming match against Al Ain gains great importance for both teams, in light of Ajman's quest to return to the path of victories and strengthen its position in the standings, versus the leader's desire to continue competing for the title, which heralds a strong confrontation that the Orange team looks forward to achieving a positive result that reflects the development of its performance in the recent period'.
