In Dubai, a special ceremony was held at Dubai Autodrom in Motor City, where the UAE Committee for Talents Care and National Sports Support (UAETSS) announced the selection of a new group of young athletes with promising talent to join the committee's care programs. The list of talents includes motorsport (drifting) athlete Khalifa Falasi, while three athletes joined the UAE Cycling Federation: Falah Al-Naimi, Sultan Saud, and Afra Khalid. The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Saeel bin Butti Al Maktoum, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Sports Development and Competitiveness Sector, Chairman of the Committee, and Engineer Mansour Bouaissibe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Cycling Federation, along with ministry teams, representatives of various sports federations, and the media. This announcement marks the continuation of the 'Athlete Path' program, which the Talents Care Committee launched in collaboration with the UAE Elite Sports and High-Level Committee last November as part of its efforts to expand the talent base in the UAE and support it in diverse sports disciplines. During the press conference, Sheikh Saeel bin Butti Al Maktoum confirmed that the continuation of the 'Athlete Path' program reflects the institutional continuity of work in developing sports talents in the country despite challenges, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with the UAE Olympic Committee, the UAE Elite Sports and High-Level Committee, and all components of the national sports sector, in addition to expanding the support provided by the committee to include specialized sports that enhance the competitiveness of the national sports sector. Sheikh Saeel said: 'Through our talent care programs in the committee, we strive to provide a comprehensive professional environment that meets the aspirations of our athletes and enables them to achieve the best results at regional and international levels. We believe that investing in young talents is the foundation for manufacturing the future champions of UAE sports and cementing the country's position on the world sports map.'
