Farah announced his participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer and confirmed that his ultimate goal is to represent Britain in the marathon distance. Previously, he competed in long distances and won four Olympic gold medals.
"My ultimate goal is the marathon. I am ready for this challenge and want to represent Great Britain in the 26.2 miles distance," Farah said.
Farah also announced that he had several addresses for conducting training sessions and expressed hope that he would make it to the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
"I have announced my participation in the Olympic Games. I hope to qualify and get to Tokyo," he said.
