Chess Initiative Concludes in Fujairah

Recently, His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah awarded the winners, strategic partners, and volunteer teams of the chess mentorship initiative. The initiative aims to stimulate interest in chess, expand the base of game enthusiasts, and discover talents.

The initiative attracted a large turnout: 324 players from different regions of Fujairah participated. Within the framework of the event, training masterclasses were also held in community centers.

Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Hamad al-Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, organized a closing event for the initiative of community councils for chess education. The event was organized under the auspices of the councils of the Prince for global mentorship and social assistance in collaboration with the Fujairah Development Fund and involved ten communities in the emirate.
