The Fujairah International Children's Book Fair continues its events, focusing on introducing visitors to the UAE's cultural heritage through activities and workshops that bring local heritage elements to life, connecting children with their national identity roots.

The fair featured a distinguished workshop on the story of the UAE's cultural heritage and the Emirati "malih" element. During the session, Musaab Amir Abu Hazaim, Head of the Cultural Heritage Project at Dar Al-Muhait Publishing, and Fatima Al-Jabri, a researcher in Emirati heritage, discussed the concept of heritage in general, its tangible and intangible types, as well as digital heritage.

The main stage hosted author Juliana Johnson in a storytelling session titled "The Pearl Diver" to explore the world of traditional diving in search of pearl treasures. Through clips from the historical film "Pearl of the Coast," the audience experienced a journey combining knowledge, heritage, and maritime adventure.

Additionally, Johnson introduced children to the Saluki dog breed in a workshop called "The Saluki: The Bedouin's Dog," discussing their loyalty and connection to nomads. The workshop also included scenes from the film "The Windrunner."

Visiting children also interacted with Abdullah Al Ali, the youngest Emirati economist, in a workshop titled "How to Save?" The session covered the importance of saving and its role in developing financial awareness among children.
