This came during His Highness's reception at Al Rumailiah Palace of Dr. Choue Chung-won, President of the World Taekwondo Federation, and members of the Federation's Executive Committee. This was on the sidelines of Fujairah Emirate hosting the Fujairah International Open Taekwondo Championship and the Arab Taekwondo Cup. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, confirmed that hosting international sports championships in Fujairah stems from the role of sports in developing societies and affirms the emirate's commitment to enhancing its position in the sports sector at all levels.
