Within the 'Winter in Hatta' initiative, the 'Hatta Brings Us Together' festival continues its activities, shedding light on the inspiring success stories of home-based entrepreneurs who form one of the event's main axes. The festival is organized by the Community Development Authority in cooperation with 'Brand Dubai', the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, under the supervision of the 'Higher Committee for the Supervision of the Development of the Hatta Region'. The festival has become a living model for empowering the local community and enhancing its role in the region's tourism and economic landscape.

This year, 35 home-based entrepreneurs are participating in 'Hatta Brings Us Together', representing emerging economic and social potentials in the region. They present works inspired by their local skills and daily experiences, offering them a practical opportunity to expand their presence and interact directly with visitors. It serves as a vital platform for showcasing their products, which range from traditional cuisine, sweets, perfumes, and incense, to clothing and handicrafts, offering visitors an authentic experience that reflects the spirit of Hatta and its rich heritage.

Behind every product showcased at 'Hatta Brings Us Together' lies a success story that reflects the event's role in supporting family producers and transforming small projects into comprehensive family experiences where family members come together to display their products. The collaborative work becomes a space that deepens social bonds and adds a new dimension to family entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, the festival provided an opportunity for family members to meet in a lively social setting, highlighting the festival's impact, which has gone beyond economic support to the level of empowering the human being, fostering cohesion, and rebuilding bridges that strengthen the community in all its components.

In addition to being a platform for showcasing small enterprises, the festival features several community institutions, including the Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Center for People of Determination. Participants from the center showcased their diverse handicraft works that embody their creativity and talent, from handmade bags and precisely crafted leather accessories to pottery, reed, palm frond, marble, and artistic sculptures.

In a special participation, senior citizens presented their traditional products that carry the imprint of authentic Emirati heritage. They displayed their handicraft works from 'sadu' (traditional weaving), from which various items are made, including medals, bracelets, and reed products, as well as other traditional products from crafts passed down through generations.

It was also noted that the festival will continue to present new surprises, inviting the public to discover the events for themselves and enjoy the winter experience Hatta offers, which combines nature, culture, and entertainment.

In a real logistical and social support, a team registered with the Community Development Authority, including the 'UAE Pulse' volunteer team from Hatta residents, offered assistance and support to senior citizens, families, and visitors, embodying the spirit of cooperation and community solidarity.

Hessa bint Isa Bu Humaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority, said: 'The 'Hatta Brings Us Together' festival reflects the Authority's commitment to a comprehensive vision for empowering all segments of the community, from home-based entrepreneurs to people of determination and senior citizens, making them an integral part of the local economy and social life. The festival provides a real platform for these creators and artisans to showcase their skills and creativity, and interact directly with the public, which contributes to the development of their projects and the achievement of their aspirations, while at the same time preserving our authentic cultural heritage.'

She added: 'We are committed to developing a comprehensive support system that helps all project owners and artisans achieve continuous and sustainable growth, whether by enhancing their skills or by expanding the opportunities available for them to participate in major events within the 'Winter in Hatta' initiative and others. The 'Hatta Brings Us Together' festival affirms our commitment to empowering all segments of the community, from home-based entrepreneurs to people of determination and senior citizens.
