The general director of Iktifa stated that agricultural researchers at the farm actively work on the development of new experimental varieties of wheat with the aim of creating the variety "Shardja 1". The Meihah wheat farm utilizes advanced irrigation technologies, which led to a 30% reduction in water consumption. The Al Tunaydji detail states that the third season of wheat production included the cultivation of three different wheat varieties. Egyptian varieties showed higher protein content in Shardja compared to their country of origin.

Additionally, experiments were conducted on the cultivation of corn silage on 12.5 hectares as a trial for providing green feed for livestock, resulting in more than 500 tons of light feed production. The harvest this year includes 37 sections totaling 1,428 hectares with an expected yield of 6,000 tons of organic wheat.
