The Department of Economic Development of Sharjah confirmed that economic indicators of the emirate significantly grew in the third quarter of 2024.
According to the results of the analysis conducted, a stable increase in investment volume in various sectors of the economy is observed. In particular, the sectors of tourism, transportation, and infrastructure showed significant growth. Enterprises continue to expand their activities, which positively reflects on the overall economic situation in the region.
"We see a trend towards an increase in the number of enterprises striving to start or expand their business in Sharjah. This attests to the favorable investment environment and prospects for entrepreneurs," noted the representative of the department.
As part of efforts to stimulate economic growth, special support programs for small and medium enterprises are being implemented. This includes streamlined procedures for business registration, financial support, and consulting services for entrepreneurs.
"We aim to create favorable conditions for business development in the region, and our efforts are already bearing fruit. We hope for further sustainable growth of Sharjah's economy and the attraction of new investments," emphasized the representative of the economic development department.
