
Yesterday evening, the 32nd annual Ramadan Tournament of the General Command of the Sharjah Police, organized by the Sports and Social Events Department, started. Participating in the event were the General Command of the Emirtate's Guard and representatives of several governmental organizations of the emirate. The tournament will continue until the 19th day of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the press release, the competitions held at the police club include 198 teams (457 players). The first day of the tournament was marked by strong competition in football and tug-of-war, demonstrating high sports skills, physical fitness, and the performance of the participants.
In the following days, matches in football will take place, as well as tournaments in volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and swimming for 50-100 meters. Competitions will also be held among the women's teams, including archery, shooting with pneumatic rifles, and badminton.
