The second edition of the 'Tanweer' festival is being held in the heart of the stunning Al Mleiha desert, featuring 11 monumental art installations that dialogue with the desert sands. The festival's theme, 'What you are looking for is also looking for you,' is inspired by a 13th-century wisdom from the poet Rumi. The open-air exhibition brings together a diverse group of Emirati, international, and UAE-resident artists. For instance, Pakistani artist Shabeer Mir presents his massive installation 'Garden of the Word,' exploring the beauty of Arabic letters. Emirati artist Juma'a Al Haj contemplates a journey for truth in his work 'Whispers of Truth,' inspired by quotation marks. Other contributors include artists from South Korea, India, the Netherlands, Syria, and Iran, each offering a unique perspective to the vibrant and captivating exhibition.
