Under the umbrella of the 15th edition of the Sharjah Lights Festival 2026, the Sharjah Sports Council, in cooperation with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, concluded the 'Sharjah Lights Run' event. This community sports event, held under the slogan 'Lights Reflect Our Story', saw wide participation from community members of all ages and nationalities in a positive atmosphere that embodied a commitment to healthy lifestyles. The event kicked off from the 'Lights Village' opposite the City Hall building at the University City in Sharjah. Race tracks were set up within the university premises at various distances, including 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km, which allowed for the participation of various categories and abilities, from families and beginners to more experienced runners. This created a community experience that brought everyone together.
