The Sharjah Emirate Police presented a laboratory for detecting fingerprints of a new generation, developed with the aim of significantly accelerating the detection of crimes. The new laboratory was launched with the support of Brigadier General Nadji Mohammedi Hassan Al-Hammadi, who is overseeing this project. The goal of the new laboratory is to increase the effectiveness and accuracy of criminal investigations by utilizing advanced chemical processes, providing precise evidential fingerprints for the easy identification of offenders.
The new laboratory combines contemporary chemical methods, scientific techniques, and a database of fingerprint data to speed up investigations, generate reports faster, and ensure quality evidence for maintaining security and compliance with the law, as reported by the Sharjah Emirate Police.
In addition, the laboratory includes specialized training and research subdivisions aimed at developing new processing methods and training police personnel to become experts in fingerprint analysis.
"Our task is to contribute to improving community safety, and the introduction of advanced technologies into police work will allow us to quickly and accurately clarify crimes, ensuring fairness and order in our region," said Brigadier General Nadji Mohammedi Hassan Al-Hammadi.
