At the end of last week, the Extra Sport Academy in Sharjah held a badminton championship, with participation from 200 athletes of various age categories, supported by the Ministry of Sports.
The tournament was marked by fierce competition across all age groups and a high level of organization. The results of the competition are as follows:
In the category of 17-year-old girls, the third place was taken by Aminah Jasim Al-Baroudi and Roudha Mubarak Al-Mazroui from the Abu Dhabi club for badminton. The second place was awarded to Marium Al-Hamed from the Nasr club. The first place in this category was secured by Fatima Al-Zahri from the Nasr club.
Thus, the tournament concluded with the victory of these participants in their respective age groups, which contributes to the growth of badminton's popularity in the country and high competition levels.
