At the sixth international sailing championship in Shardzha, the Belarusian team Belka secured victory. They competed on Mount Faya with the participation of 58 athletes from 17 countries. The Saudi Arabian team took second place with 375 points, while the OAE team became third with 398 points.
In the individual competition among men, the first place was taken by the Estonian athlete Sergei Ousanol, followed by the Belarusian Yakhеksy, then his compatriot Viktor Yuakhini and the Saudi athlete Hamad Abdulmutala. They shared the third place. Among women, the first place was taken by Russian Ekaterina, the second – by Kazakhstani Albina, and the third – by Syrian Joudi.
