The manager of the football team Sharjah, Badr Ahmed, stated that his team achieved significant success in the previous match against the youth team Al-Ahli within the framework of the "Asian Club Champions League-2", which ended in a 1-1 draw before the deciding penalty shootout at the Sharjah stadium today. He noted that the match would not be an easy task, although Al-Ahli is an excellent team.
According to Badr Ahmed, Sharjah has several football indicators that will help them in the upcoming game, including the high readiness of the players, the work of the coaching staff to correct the mistakes from the previous match, as well as striving to utilize the home field and the support of the fans, since the match will take place at their stadium. He also pointed out that the team should avoid making the mistakes that Al-Ahli will take advantage of in the next match.
"Today's match is a test for the players of the team, especially considering that the Romanian coach Olariu Kozmin praised them after the last game for their team spirit," said Badr Ahmed.
He expressed gratitude to the Eastern fans, describing them as the main supporters of the team, and urged them to provide even more support in the upcoming match.
Badr Ahmed also expressed joy about the fact that in the last squad, four players from Sharjah were included: Khalid Al-Zanahani, Markus Miloni, Kaio Lucas, and Joao Pereira. He added that the next match against Iran has a special character, especially considering that the match will be played away, and he expressed hope for a positive result.
