Celebration of Sports Legacy in Sharjah

The Khalid Al-Midfa honored the late Abdul Rahim Jani's contributions to sports during the Ramadan volleyball tournament. The event celebrated athletic legacy with participation from several teams and prominent attendees.


Celebration of Sports Legacy in Sharjah

The Ramadan Volleyball Tournament named after Sheikh Sultan bin Saida bin Sakra al-Kasimi has been concluded, organized by the Kalba Club with the participation of 8 teams. The competition started with the conduct of the first Ramadan Tournament named after the famous Abdulrahim Jani, which is held by the Sharjah Club, in recognition of the contribution to the development of the club and sports in the UAE.

The opening events were attended by Hamis al-Suveidi, advisor to the ruler of Sharjah, and Issa Khalil al-Hazami, chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, as well as members of the management of the Sharjah Club Nasser bin Afsan and Ibrahim al-Djurvan, and members of the football company Dr. Ibrahim Khalil and Abdulaziz Muhammed, as well as members of the famous family.

In short, the opening began with a speech read by Khalid al-Mudafa, in which he emphasized the importance of the championship in identifying the role, supported by the famous family in supporting sports, noting that its organization is recognized as a testament to its successful path.
