The Sharjah Sports Council will organize the 'Shar Lights Night Run' on Saturday, February 14th, at the City University. This event is being held for the first time this year in conjunction with the Sharjah Lights Festival, organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. The race will feature categories for distances of 10 km, 5 km, 2.5 km, and 1 km. The races will start at 8:00 PM. At the conclusion, winners in each category will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals, in addition to cash prizes of up to 15,000 dirhams, provided by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. Bakheet Said Al-Quds, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at the Council, emphasized the importance of the event, stating that the Council is keen on its success.
