
Dr. Anvar Garkash, a non-resident diplomatic advisor to the President of the country, expressed his views regarding the statements of the Secretary-General of the Arab States League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
Saudi Arabia hosted the former President and the executive director of Emirates Group aviation in his office in the Emirates Group yesterday. He hosted the chairman of the board of directors and the general director of Middle East Airlines, Mohammad Abdulkareem Al-Hout, where they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between airlines, exchanged views on the current events in the aviation sector, and also the challenges and opportunities in the region.
During the meeting, the former President praised the remarkable efforts of Middle East Airlines, highlighting the key role of the company during the last crisis in Lebanon. He emphasized that the national Lebanese airline has been a vital channel that helped Lebanon maintain connections with the world, ensuring that Lebanese could stay in touch both internally and externally, and providing the opportunity to maintain connections and collaborate during challenging times.
The importance of enhancing cooperation between airlines to support the aviation sector in the region was also discussed during the meeting, strengthening aviation links between regional and international markets, and exchanging views on the latest trends in the aviation industry and the importance of adopting innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
This visit falls within the framework of close ties between Emirates and Middle East Airlines and reflects their common aspiration to provide passengers with a global service level and strengthen cooperation in the aviation sector to achieve common interests of both parties.
