
In accordance with the information provided by the Ministry of Finance, the overall internal debt of the federal government of the UAE decreased to 23.45 billion dirhams, compared to 28.3 billion at the end of May 2024. According to the official representative of the Ministry: "This indicator testifies to the sustainability of the financial system of the state and the effectiveness of our long-term policy." The indicated decrease in debt is explained by a number of measures taken by the government to optimize expenditures, improve debt management, and stimulate economic growth.
