One of the consumers noted that the choice of discounted goods for Ramadan is wide and diverse, while the size of the discounts is impressive. He pointed out that the key products offered mainly consist of meat, poultry, eggs, dairy products, sugar, fruits, and vegetables, as well as currently popular products during Ramadan, such as dates and nuts.
On this note, retail leaders confirmed that Ramadan is one of the key times for sales and prepares stores for the festival. They reported a record increase in sales volumes by 50% directly before the beginning of Ramadan.
The stores offer a multitude of discounts on meat, poultry, eggs, dairy, sugar, olive oil, cereals, pasta, tea, coffee, canned goods, fruits and vegetables, as well as sweets and chocolate.
One consumer noted that he prefers shopping during Ramadan at night, as it has become a kind of family tradition. He acknowledged the continued availability of diverse goods at discounts until the end of the month.
Different consumers express that they focus on essential food products, including meat, dairy products, vegetables, and fruits, and hope for further advantageous offers during Ramadan.
Thus, sales during Ramadan are expected to be higher than usual, while discounts and a variety of offered products make purchasing different goods more attractive for consumers.
