
Within the framework of the stimulation of competition in the market in the UAE, an agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Economy and the Competition Protection and Prevention of Unfair Practices Administration. The purpose of the agreement is the development of cooperation in the field of competition control, as well as the exchange of information and sharing of experience to ensure trading freedom and protect consumer interests. The signed document presupposes the exchange of expertise, training, and educational programs to enhance the skills of employees of both parties. In addition, it is planned to conduct joint events to raise public awareness about competition and its role in economic development. The General Director of the Competition Protection and Prevention of Unfair Practices Administration emphasized that this agreement opens new perspectives for cooperation between organizations, allowing for a more effective response to legislative violations concerning competition.
