The broadband segment showed a growth of 13.8%, while the subscriber base for fixed-line telephony increased to 701 thousand subscribers. In the first quarter, there was an addition of 19 thousand new subscribers, and over the last 12 months, the number of new subscribers reached 85 thousand, supported by ongoing promotions and attractive packages, such as "Home Basic" and "Office Wireless."
Revenue from fixed-line telephony services rose by 10.2%, reaching 1.1 billion dirhams. This is primarily due to the expansion of the fiber optic network in new areas, successful wireless internet offerings, and new business solutions. Also significantly contributing to the growth were unplanned upgrades.
More than 7 million subscribers use prepayment services, which grew by 4.5%, and postpaid subscribers increased by 9.6%, reaching 1.8 million. The company attracts clients with innovative packages and services, such as rooming for organizations. The company continues to focus on delivering higher revenues from products and increasing market share, which is reflected in the growth of profits and satisfaction of customer needs.
