The CEO of 'Cooperative Union' Mohammed Al Hashimi stated that Emirati food products currently account for a large percentage of Ramadan offers, exceeding 30% compared to imports from various countries. He added that Emirati products are characterized by high quality and reasonable prices, which has made them increasingly popular with consumers. Corporate Communications Manager at LuLu Group Nanda Kumar stated that Emirati products lead Ramadan sales. He also noted that many of these goods offer a quality that surpasses some imported products, which necessitates greater support from retailers and priority in display. The Marketing and Public Relations Manager at 'Sharjah Cooperative' Faisal Khalid Al Nabooda agreed with Kumar, stating that Emirati food products are witnessing clear growth in demand, making them a large part of Ramadan sales. In the same context, retail trade expert Ibrahim Al Bahar reported that local markets are witnessing a large abundance of Emirati-origin products, both food and non-food. He pointed out that the significant increase in the quality of these products has boosted consumer confidence, leading to a clear rise in demand for them recently.
