According to the latest report of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), presented at the meetings in Washington, it is expected that the overall GDP growth in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) will be 4% in 2024 and will increase to 5.1% in the following year. In addition, the IMF forecasts economic growth for the region of the Middle East and Central Asia at 2.4% in 2024, which will rise to 3.9% in the following year.
"The IMF's forecasts for the GDP of MENA and the region as a whole indicate positive growth dynamics, which will be supported by a favorable economic situation in these countries," it is noted in the report.
