The aircraft with 486 seats includes the "Apartment" cabin - a unique bespoke offering in the world with three rooms in the air, ten first class cabins, 70 business class seats, and also 405 economy seats, including 68 seats with additional space for legs, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.
The return of the A380 to Paris symbolizes the rich French heritage in aviation. Etihad Airways' General Manager for commercial affairs and revenue, Erik Di, stated: "Paris is a city known for its elegant style and charming atmosphere, a key direction for our global network. This route responds to the growing demand among tourists and strengthens commercial ties between countries, especially in aviation, energy, and the modern sphere.
Paris is one of the leading financial centers and tourist destinations in the world, attracting millions of visitors annually with its famous landmarks, renowned modern brands, and culinary heritage. A unique cultural bridge connects both capitals, both being the only homes in the world that are the pillars for the Louvre.
The returning A380, designed and assembled in Europe with final assembly in Toulouse, represents a significant achievement for the French aviation industry in the field of innovation and technology. The return of the A380 enhances travel options between Abu Dhabi and Paris, reflecting our commitment to this important route.
Etihad Airways plans to expand its network, increasing the number of flights throughout the year in Milan, Rome, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Barcelona, and Madrid, thereby supporting this same rapid growth in Europe. This increased capacity responds to the growing demand we observe in France, and we promise you even more new services by the end of 2024."
Relations between the UAE and France are strong in such areas as culture, education, and business.
