We are telling you about the achievements of the digital verification platform belonging to the National Telecom Regulatory Authority and Digital Management, which has made a significant breakthrough in the issuance of electronic documents with a digital signature. Since the launch of the service in mid-January 2022, more than 15 million and 80 thousand documents have been issued. The platform continues to support the full digital transformation in the United Arab Emirates, validating more than 450 thousand documents, and also providing access to 45 types of digital documents issued by 18 federal and local government agencies.
It allows both government and private entities, as well as individuals, to momentarily verify electronic documents certified by participating governmental authorities, without the need for the original on paper or a request for a physical copy. The platform also converts clients' documents into reliable digital documents with a high level of confidentiality and information security.
This platform is one of the key stimulators of general digital transformation in the country, based on blockchain technology. It serves as a common digital encrypted registry for processing and registration of various transactions, contracts, and documents, regulating the trust process in given and electronic documents, verification through digital auditing, and data exchange based on the documents.
The platform also provides for the conversion of clients' documents into reliable digital documents with a high level of confidentiality and information security. Since its launch, it has become a significant step towards achieving the objectives of the 'Strategy for Government Services of the United Arab Emirates,' ensuring services oriented towards the individual, strengthening trust between the government and society, increasing the competitiveness of the country, ensuring sustainability and effectiveness.
