Furjan Dubai continues to organize the Furjan Festival in Mushrif National Park until February 15th. In a vibrant community atmosphere blending creativity, entertainment, and national identity, with a special focus on supporting artistic talents and enhancing community participation, the festival offers a comprehensive experience for visitors. The festival fosters rapprochement and unity among Furjan residents, solidifying the values of social solidarity. It also aims to support entrepreneurship and empower emerging national talents and projects by providing an interactive platform that enables creative individuals to showcase their work and connect with the community, while also highlighting heritage, arts, and national identity within an entertaining and cultural framework that brings together various segments of society. Having started on the 5th of this month, the festival features around 20 diverse artistic talents, including vocalists, musicians, visual artists, and a folkloric troupe. Their daily performances showcase creative energies and enrich the festival's artistic landscape, reflecting the diversity and prominent presence of local talents. Furthermore, the festival includes 110 diverse workshops for children, conducted by 12 organizations throughout its duration. These range from painting on canvases and bracelet designing to making colored dough, cookies, and 3D decoration workshops. It also features workshops inspired by Emirati heritage, such as crafting aromatic oud, creating perfumes, and producing saffran products. The festival also hosts the "Furjan Talents" zone, an art exhibition that spotlights the creations of citizen artists from various Furjan districts. The display includes a diverse collection of artworks reflecting a variety of styles and art schools. Eman Al-Awadi, Marketing Director at Furjan Dubai, confirmed that the Furjan Festival serves as a supportive platform for national talents. She stated, "We are committed to providing a nurturing space for artistic talents, offering them the opportunity to express their abilities before the public, which contributes to supporting the local creative scene and enhancing the visibility of national talents." She added, "The festival places special emphasis on children, driven by our belief in the importance of fostering a creative spirit from a young age. We involve them in interactive art workshops that help refine their skills and boost their self-confidence in a safe and encouraging community environment." Al-Awadi also highlighted that the festival reflects Furjan Dubai's dedication to reviving Emirati artistic heritage. She said, "We ensure the festival includes workshops and activities inspired by Emirati heritage, which strengthens the bond of the new generation with their national identity and helps in transmitting authentic cultural and artistic values in a contemporary and interactive style."
