The United Arab Emirates achieved a new national success by winning six medals at the 16th International Invention Exhibition in the Middle East in Kuwait. Young inventors presented innovative solutions in the fields of security, ecology, and technology, strengthening the country's international scientific standing.

The Emirates Scientific Club has achieved a new national success by winning six medals (one gold and five silver) at the 16th International Exhibition of Inventions in the Middle East, held in Kuwait. The event featured 213 inventors presenting 166 inventions from 60 Arab and foreign countries, in an international scientific gathering that confirms the high level of competition and excellence in the field of innovation. This triumph reinforces the club's advanced position in nurturing young national talents and solidifies the presence of the United Arab Emirates on the global scientific stage. Students Aisha Al-Harthi and Shahad Al-Marzuki won the gold medal for their invention «A coastal safety system based on an IoT-supported smart buoy for real-time monitoring and predictive analytics». Students Ahmed Al-Zarouni and Hamad Al-Marzuki received the silver medal for developing a «Smart electrical distribution panel equipped with IoT monitoring and moisture protection», a step that contributes to enhancing the efficiency and safety of electrical systems. Additionally, student Ali Al-Lughani, with the participation of student Rowda Al-Mansoori, secured the silver medal for the invention of a «Mobile vehicle for environmental risk monitoring and safety prediction using artificial intelligence technologies». Student Mayed Al-Marri won the silver medal for his «Hurricane and tsunami survival capsule for all terrains», which offers an innovative solution to enhance safety procedures during natural disasters. Student Hamdan Rahma earned the silver medal for designing a «Plastic recycling machine to produce sustainable 3D printing threads», supporting the principles of sustainability and the circular economy. Students Safiya Al-Mazrouei and Amna Al-Suwaidi also received silver medals for their invention of a «High-efficiency and sustainable water purification and treatment system», reflecting the students' interest in finding sustainable environmental solutions. The club's delegation consisted of nine young inventors, accompanied by two board members, Jamal Mohammed Al-Khateeb and Engineer Mohammed Al-Shamsi, along with a number of parents. The Emirati delegation received the support of the UAE Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Matar Al-Niyadi, and his Deputy, Counselor Hamad Rashid Al-Mansoori. Bilal Badour, Chairman of the Board of Culture and Science, confirmed that what was achieved in Kuwait is not merely the result of medals, but a living reflection of the vision of a secure nation where real investment begins with the human being, and empowering young minds is the most solid path to the future. Dr. Issa Al-Bustaki, Chairman of the Emirates Scientific Club, explained that the students worked on their inventions for over nine months according to a rigorous scientific methodology, starting from identifying problems and formulating hypotheses, moving through experimentation and analysis, to developing practical, applicable models.
