Leila revealed closed white fabric paintings in the house, choosing and combining them one after another to embody the stages of life: first, she accepted the cover for the infant, then placed it on his head like a father, and finished by covering him like a savior and writing 'the end.' Director Samir al-Balushi said: 'I worked on a vision based on the interaction of components; I don’t see myself as the sole director of the spectacle; I sit with each of the participants of the spectacle and try to present a beautiful picture for the audience.' He also discussed themes of rupture and the gap between mother and daughter, noting that women turn into 'remnants,' and the appearance of Leila, who pretends to help the blind mother. The narrative is based on a game, addressing the relationship among family members, supporting the younger male generation's thoughts on the value of paintings. The director used music in the spectacle meaningfully and effectively, sometimes even competing with the actors’ voices. The author included personal dialogues, transitioning from them to the monologue to dissolve the characters he created in the prolonged presentation. He paraphrased Ahmed al-Majid's main text, adding an additional character. He also used imagination, leaving paintings covered to evoke viewer interest. The game 'continues' until the moment when Leila and Salma are freed from Suleiman, allowing for the exploration of deep traits and feelings they carry within themselves, such as greed, nostalgia, and other emotions present in daily life. The director created an experimental spectacle, incorporating elements of theatrical tests and experiences. Author Ahmed al-Majid noted that the representation represents a vibrant youth experiment and supported the director's vision of the spectacle. The play directed by Samir al-Balushi became his second theatrical production. The show ended tragically, leaving the viewer with many questions and problems, raising them and leaving them unanswered. Blending artistic and theatrical genres, the director complicated the task, merging images with falling doors. The team plans to continue collaborating and work on another project in the coming year. The narrative discusses greed, nostalgia, and other themes within one family, creating amazing characters.
