Abdullah Al-Humairi, a young Emirati specialized in politics, social research, and public law, shows a deep interest in creative writing. He published his first novel titled "The Lost Kingdom of the Desert," which blends elements of history, scientific fiction, and fantasy.

In his talk for "Emirates Today," Abdullah Al-Humairi clarified that he graduated from New York University Abu Dhabi with a specialization in politics, social research, and public law, and he is currently pursuing a master's degree in economics, specifically in "Chinese Studies" at Peking University. His interest in writing and practicing jiujitsu reflects his desire to achieve balance between the body and the mind.

"The Lost Kingdom of the Desert" tells the story of historical adventures following an exploratory journey in 1887 to discover a hidden kingdom beneath the Arab desert, led by characters from stories of fiction and history. Abdullah's interest in the history of Arab civilization since his childhood has driven him to explore and investigate in order to present a cherished story for all ages.

Abdullah Al-Humairi emphasized the importance of using the Arabic language and highlighting the Arab heritage in his writings. He conducted extensive research around ancient Arab civilizations such as Fes, Seville, and the Eye of the Desert to add authenticity to his cherished story, and he drew inspiration from local legends to develop events and characters.

Al-Humairi strives to achieve balance in his narrative between factual elements and imaginary, which makes his story combine historical facts and elements of adventure and mystery that stimulate the readers' imagination.
